A professional development module for faculty, administration, and other appropriate personnel that will:
- inform participants about the differences between formative and summative testing;
- provide a detailed analysis of the similarities and differences between each component of the SAT and ACT;
- provide resources regarding the college admissions process and financial aid;
- demonstrate the significance of the exams in terms of financial aid, college admissions, and overall high-stakes testing;
- investigate how each school can use data to identify students' academic skill gaps, create differentiated lessons, and provide data-driven instruction to best meet the needs of each student;
- encourage teachers to integrate test-taking strategies into everyday curriculum, and
- provide additional tools for the district to aid students in mastering college and career readiness skills
