College Guidance

Cambridge offers two services for students planning on attending college: a CollegePrep™ course and a College Guidance Service.

Many students find their first year of college to be very strenuous. In an attempt to reverse the growing rate of freshmen failure, we have developed the CollegePrep™ Course. This course focuses on the skills necessary for a successful transition between high school and college. Students gain knowledge in areas such as: tools for success in college, time management, college reading requirements, improved vocabulary, renewed writing skills, classroom survival skills, logical reasoning, and study skills. The Cambridge Guidance Service provides a top-five list of schools that fit a student's criteria for which he or she is a good candidate for acceptance, as well as five additional schools of a student's choice. After filling out an interest survey of a student's college preferences and his or her academic background, Cambridge delivers a report providing the student with all of the relevant information they need for the application and acceptance processes for their top-five schools.
