The Cambridge Foundation recently donated over $1500 worth of meals to homeless children at the City Union Mission in Kansas City, Missouri and to Youth & Shelter Services in Des Moines, Iowa. The Cambridge Foundation also donated ACT® test preparation materials to a young man from Youth & Shelter Services who was studying for his ACT® exam. His counselor said he comes to the shelter to talk about his career and to study. He expressed his great appreciation to the Cambridge Foundation, as he had no formal preparation materials available to him.
The Cambridge Foundation continues to award $500 scholarships to deserving high school students entering college. Students should submit their college application essay here.
The Cambridge Foundation is also offering to donate SAT/PSAT test preparation Victory Textbooks to shelters and community centers to help underprivileged youth meet their potential in preparation for the SAT college entrance exam. Currently, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in matching grants to support underprivileged students in their pursuit of higher education.

“Cambridge is working with six of our most challenged Archdiocesan High Schools...all serve disproportionately low-income students...scores improved an average 2.1 points on the ACT from pre-test to actual. I have strong hope that there will be further increases with our teacher training for the schools.”
