Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant.

The company’s goals for the successful candidate are:

  1. Quickly master the ins-and-outs of the company’s accounting practices.
  2. Show the ability to assume greater responsibility as time goes on.
  3. Work closely with the head of accounting.
  4. Become an indispensable employee.

Required responsibilities and skills:

  1. Reconciling accounts.
  2. Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  3. Preparing and presenting cost-benefit analyses.
  4. Organizing and sending corporate returns.
  5. Making journal entries.
  6. Preparing payroll and related activities.
  7. Providing genuine customer service to all vendor accounts.

Education and experience:

This position requires a minimum of two years of college education (for full-time only), preferably in Accounting.  Account management experience is preferred, but not required.  Background in education market is a plus.

Data Entry Assistant

We are seeking a data entry assistant.

Education and experience:

This position requires a minimum of two years of high school education.  Education or experience in IT or Graphics is a plus.

Compensation and benefits:

Administrative Assistant

Editorial Assistant

We are seeking an Editorial Assistant to edit and review all written materials produced and used by the company.

  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to compose well-written letters, documents, and creative copy.

Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for our Marketing and Publishing departments.

Required responsibilities and skills:

We are seeking a School Relations Associate.

Required Skills:

  4. Experience with web application implementation using ASP .Net, JSP, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, and / or PHP.
  5. Flexibility in working with Windows, OSX, and Linux platforms.
  6. Background with any of the following is a plus: FoxPro, FileMaker, SCRUM, Visual Studio, GDI+, Office Interop, Sharepoint, BugZilla, Active Directory, VPN, RSync.

Education and experience:

This position requires a minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area.  3+ years of industry software development experience.  Background in education market is a plus.
