PTA
Parents profoundly affect future generations. They need to guarantee that children are exposed to rigorous academics and are consistently practicing academic skills. It is easy for students overwhelmed with activities, sports, and clubs to lose focus on current learning and future educational goals. In addition, they need to remind children that a student's GPA and ACT® test or SAT* test scores still serve as the main criteria for college admissions.
PTA members can be strong advocates for helping schools to build essential academic skills and consistently raising scores on college entrance tests.
