School Improvement Workshops

The School Improvement workshop is for educators who want to perfect their school improvement programs. Learn the Cambridge Six-Step Approach in order to attain unprecedented score improvements.

Registration fee is $35 per not-for-profit registrant ($100 for three registrants) and $250 per for-profit registrant. Maximum of three attendees per institution. Registration fee includes detailed course handouts and refreshments. Registration fee waived for Cambridge partner institutions

We've chosen the following dates and times for Cambridge's TestPrep PLUSTM Workshops. All workshops run from 11:30am until 3 pm.

Each School Improvement workshop will feature the following agenda:

I. Customizing Course Format and Schedule for High School, Elementary, TRIO/GEAR UP, and Continuing Education Programs
 
  • Blending after-school, semester-long, multi-year, full-service, and/or alongside-the-curriculum models
  • Using assessment and error analysis to enhance curriculum and improve instruction
  • Preparing for recent test changes
II. Using a Multi-Year Approach to Improve Teaching and Engaged Learning
III. Short- and Long-Term NCLB Strategies
IV. The Relationship Between Homework, Attendance, Perception, and Test Scores
 
  • How to hold your own Admissions Workshop
  • How to dramatically increase attendance and student participation
  • How to use the Student Investment Index
V. Supporting Certified Classroom Teachers
 
  • Sample test, strategies, and demonstration lecture by a Cambridge Master Teacher
  • Targeting by ability to reverse unwanted trends
VI. Breakout Session
