Upward Bound

The academic skills students cultivate in high school reap rich rewards in college. Successful Upward Bound programs invest great time and resources into developing essential academic skills in their students. Students with solid academic skills score higher on standardized tests that serve as gatekeepers to college admission and scholarships. Likewise, students who excel in math, reading, and writing skills transition into college academics with far less frustration and challenge.

Cambridge partners with Upward Bound programs to help:

  • Promote essential academic skill building for all students.
  • Develop dynamic classroom initiatives for teaching college and career skills and strategies.
  • Offer world-class professional development workshops for educators.
  • Provide supplemental test preparation web courses and CD-ROM software.
