“The 3-day ACT Reading Bootcamp East Lee County High School created and presented in June 2015, using the Cambridge ACT/SAT Combo books had a 75% success rate. That is awesome, especially considering the population was seniors who had already walked the stage, but had earned only a certificate of completion. These were primarily English Language Learners who had already taken the ACT at least two times without earning the minimum score. 75% of the non-graduates who attended earned a 19 or better on the ACT reading and were able to exchange the COC for a Diploma! They key to our teachers being able to create such an effective workshop was an emphasis on the 6 types of reading questions taught in the Cambridge materials.
