Cambridge’s Credit Ready!™ Prep for the TSI Assessment 2.0 materials contain 18 hours of content and lessons that teach the tested topics systematically, helping students refresh the skills they need and learn key strategies to boost scores.

Cambridge’s Credit Ready!™ Prep for the TSI Assessment 2.0 teacher guides provide mechanics, strategies, pointers, and additional insights so that teachers can efficiently and effectively teach a concise TSI preparation course. Instructors teach through the tested concepts using short lessons and examples while practice exercises are designed to help verify understanding.

Cambridge has also created a Spanish-based Credit READY! Prep for the TSI Assessment 2.0 to support ESL Spanish-speaking students which is based on the well-documented research of Cummins, Collier, and Thomas: The stronger students become in their native language, the more proficient they become in their new language). This resource includes all the material found in our popular English version, but with unit lessons and examples presented in Spanish. As students transition to the practice items, the instructions are provided in both Spanish and English. However, all individual practice items, like the TSIA 2.0, are given in English so that students can apply the Spanish-written lessons and review to English TSIA 2.0 question items.

This popular workbook contains 11 units of skill-based practice and corresponds with the Credit READY! Prep book for easy implementation. With over 600 practice problems in the workbook, students can review and practice for up to 36 hours to develop the skills needed for success on the TSIA 2.0.

Cambridge’s Credit Ready Workbook for the TSIA2 Teacher’s Guide minimizes teacher preparation providing thorough explanations for every problem, exercise, and/or quiz specifying item-types, difficulty level, time on task and teaching tips.  This guide provide mechanics, strategies, pointers, and additional insights so that teachers can efficiently and effectively teach a concise course.  Instructors teach through the tested concepts using short lessons and ample examples while abundant practice exercises are designed to help verify understanding.

The Score Booster for the TSI Assessment provides 18 hours of online, level-based practice to ensure student mastery. The Score Booster features six untimed quizzes for each subject: 2 basic, 2 intermediate, and 2 advanced. Each quiz includes 20 questions and provides a mix of question types so students can practice each of the skills needed for test day. Students can take each quiz more than once; and due to the leveled nature of the quizzes, they can monitor progress in real time. Students receive a percent correct and given feedback about how likely they are to pass the real TSI Assessment.

Credit READY! TSI PrepCast 2.0 is a comprehensive video course that brings teaching from Cambridge master teachers directly to your students. It can be blended with in-class instruction or used as a self-study program. Students receive a Credit READY! Prep book to follow along with the videos and can complete the quizzes and tests in their Credit READY! Prep books or in an interactive online environment. Teachers receive a comprehensive teacher’s guide and access to the online content where they can also see students’ grades for any online activities.

Cambridge’s TSI OnDemand 2.0 provides 30 instructor-led videos related to the most tested topics found on the TSIA 2.0 test. These on-demand videos allow students to review tested topics and learn strategies that can be used on test day. Watch the videos one by one or choose topics you find most challenging. These videos work best as one component of a prep course.

Cambridge’s TSIA 2.0 PowerPoints allow teachers to display and demonstrate problems from our popular Credit Ready! Prep resources. Often incorporated as bell ringers, these slideshow files also include a duplicate slide with a solution to discuss in class.

The Credit READY! course begins with a pre-test, which provides a benchmark for both teachers and students. The test is available as an online linear or adaptive test designed to reflect the content and item types featured on the TSI 2.0 Assessment.  Students complete both a college readiness test and a diagnostic test as needed to assess their strengths and weaknesses.

Teacher Professional Development

Cambridge’s Test DeMystifier Professional Development gives teachers a thorough understanding TSI test. Teachers learn about test mechanics including the test structure and format; timing of each subject test – Reading, Writing and Language, English, Math, and Science; tested content and skills within each subject and in what proportion; and analysis of the new Essay, including the passage, prompt, and expectations. With practice problems in Reading, Writing and Language, English, Math, and Science teachers learn high-value test-taking strategies for items most frequently encountered on the test; how different forms of “data” are integrated throughout the tests; how to address student-produced response questions, and about evidence-based questions. Teachers also gain insight into the scoring of the tests and the aligned scale scores for any suite of exams.

Cambridge’s Introduction to Testing Readiness provides teachers with a thorough understanding of how to effectively prepare students using any one of Cambridge’s test preparation materials including Credit Ready!™ Prep for the TSI Assessment 2.0 and Credit READY! Prep book texts. Led by a Cambridge Master teacher and customized for your implementation model your teachers will analyze the Cambridge Course Concept Outline, understand the instructional layout and progression of the Cambridge materials, consider different course structures and timings, learn how to target instruction based on ability levels while incorporating building basic skills into your program, review applicable Item Indexes and Crosswalks to Standards, explore the mechanics of the applicable test in terms of test structure, timing, content, frequency and skills for each section of the test (e.g. Writing, Language, Reading, Math, and Science), learn best practices for implementing and differentiating instruction, and gain insight into question types, concepts tested, common distractors, and assigning homework. The ScoreCelerator Workshop for the TSIA2 tests offer an intensive review of solid test taking techniques, high-value targets that offer the best return on preparation time, and powerful test-taking strategies.
